Other activities

Next to my paid jobs I have been active in numerous committees and boards. I have done the annual financial checks for the Dutch Association for Institutional Research (DAIR).

During my own PhD trajectory, I have been involved in the representation of PhD candidates. I have been a board member of the PhD Network of the Netherlands (PNN), where I attended to the portfolio on appointments. PNN is committed to ensuring and improving the rights of all PhD candidates working in the Netherlands, with a special focus on maintaining the employee status of PhD candidates in the Netherlands.

I have also been a board member of LEO, the Leiden PhD Association.
